Tuesday video chat on Trump and Gaza
Last week Trump announced the shocking intention of taking over the Gaza Strip - and turning it into “the Riviera of the Middle East”.
He says that he views it as a “real estate transaction”. But it’s actually the overturning of decades of U.S. foreign policy - including his own “America First” aversion to involvement - and possible war - in the Middle East.
So what’s the deal? Tune in on Tuesday, when I’ll be discussing the whole thing in a video conversation with Israeli commentator Alex Stein, who writes the Love of the Land newsletter. Alex is able to explain Israel to outsiders like no-one I know, and he brings a deep appreciation of history to every discussion.
We’ll be having the discussion on Substack Video live at 8:30pm Central European Time/7:30pm UK time/2:30pm DC time. Just load up the Substack app or website and you’ll get a notification allowing you to tune in.
Anyone can watch live, and the video will be emailed out afterwards. Be sure to share this post with anyone you know who might be interested.
